Bryce Edge, one of Radiohead's managers, has told The Times that £42.50 is a fair price for the band's British shows next summer, after suggestions that the tour costs too much. NME sets the price against Prince's 21 nights at the O2 Arena in London, where every ticket was £31.21.

The price was given when the dates were announced on 4 December: two nights at Victoria Park in London, then Glasgow Green and Old Trafford Cricket Ground in Manchester, at the end of June.

Edge says the price is in line with what acts of similar standing charge. We don't want to go on tour and lose money. It is expensive to put on the quality show people expect.1
