Burial and Four Tet remix Thom Yorke's The Eraser for three 12-inches
XL Recordings will put out nine remixes from Thom Yorke's solo album The Eraser on three 12-inch singles, a week apart from 21 January. Burial's remix of “And It Rained All Night” opens the first record.
Eight of the album's nine songs are reworked; the title track is the one left alone. The Eraser came out in 2006 and was on that year's Mercury Music Prize shortlist.
