Thom Yorke gives Gordon Brown's climate speech a guarded welcome

Thom Yorke has posted on radiohead.com about Gordon Brown's climate change speech this week. I heard today that the British Prime Minister, Gordon his name is, has finally stopped faffing about and is talking about climate change as the inconvenient truth that it is¹.

That is a good thing, Yorke writes, at least on the surface. He is involved with Friends of the Earth and its campaign for a law that commits the UK to act fast. If there is a law then we all have to act. am i dreaming? i am not the only one.¹
