Jonny Greenwood plays a new piece, “Skip Loop”, at the Roundhouse
Jonny Greenwood gave the first performance of a new piece, “Skip Loop”, at the Roundhouse in Camden, London, on Monday, with soloists of the London Contemporary Orchestra, DIY reports. Video of it is already online.
The Roundhouse billed the night as Jonny Greenwood and LCO Soloists, one of its Summer Sessions, and promised music nobody had heard before. The title pairs “Skip Loop” with “Loop”, the piece he first played with the same orchestra in February at the Wapping Hydraulic Power Station in east London. He is back in the same building on 6 and 7 August to play his There Will Be Blood score live to the film.
