Jonny Greenwood says Radiohead start recording in September

Jonny Greenwood was a guest on Mary Anne Hobbs's show on BBC Radio 6 Music, and said of Radiohead, We're going to start up in September, playing, rehearsing and recording and see how it's sounding.²

At the end of March he had told the Nashville Scene's Nashville Cream blog that the band would meet at the end of the summer and make a plan. The sessions are for a ninth album, the band's first since The King of Limbs in 2011. Since that record Greenwood has scored Paul Thomas Anderson's new film, Inherent Vice.
