Thom Yorke to play Bloc 2016 at Butlins in Minehead

Thom Yorke is among the first acts named for Bloc 2016, which NME says marks the electronic music weekender's tenth anniversary, at the Butlins resort in Minehead, Somerset, from 11 to 13 March. Bloc bills him as “Thom Yorke - Tomorrow's Modern Boxes”, the show built on his 2014 solo album.

Four Tet, Floating Points, Holly Herndon and Jeff Mills are in the first wave too. So is Steve Davis, the snooker player, booked for a DJ set.

NME report that Nigel Godrich will be with him, as he was at Pitchfork Music Festival Paris on 30 October. DIY say the set will take in songs from The Eraser as well.
