Jonny Greenwood plays a sold-out Oxford church, then Geneva
Jonny Greenwood played a sold-out concert with soloists of the London Contemporary Orchestra at St John the Evangelist, the church on Iffley Road in Oxford, his home town, on Saturday 21 February.
Tonight, Wednesday 25 February, Greenwood and the soloists play the Victoria Hall in Geneva, the last event of this year's Antigel festival.
The Oxford concert was billed as including music nobody had heard before. Hugh Brunt conducted seven string players, with Anna Lapwood on organ and piano. Greenwood moved between electric guitar, ondes Martenot and tanpura.
