The score Thom Yorke and Robert Del Naja made for The UK Gold, Mark Donne's documentary on tax avoidance, went up to stream free on the website of the campaign group UK Uncut on 25 February, the day London Live shows the film at 8pm.

Del Naja, 3D of Massive Attack, wrote six of the 12 tracks and Yorke four solo instrumentals. The other two, “Tap24 + Hiha24” and “Pin Loon Break Up”, are Yorke with Jonny Greenwood, and the second is built on a loop of Yorke's voice. Yorke's “Mono Jam One V2” stretches out the opening of “A Brain in a Bottle” from Tomorrow's Modern Boxes.

The film was first announced in May 2013, with a premiere set for the Troxy in London that June. Dominic West narrates its account of Britain's part in tax avoidance, and Jon Snow of Channel 4 News appears to talk about the country's tax havens. Guy Garvey of Elbow and Rose Elinor Dougall were named this month as contributing music to the film itself. UK Uncut says the BBC and Channel 4 both turned it down as too controversial9.

Yorke gave NME a statement on the film earlier in the month. For all the current government's talk of standards in the Financial Industry it comes as no surprise perhaps that the reality beneath reveals their staggering hypocrisy1, he wrote, before asking Just who does our government work for?1
