Special edition sends A Moon Shaped Pool back into the Billboard 200

A Moon Shaped Pool has re-entered the Billboard 200 at number 11 on the chart dated 22 October, after the special edition went out at the end of September. Of the 21,000 copies sold in the week, 19,000 were on vinyl, the new edition and the standard pressing together. That takes the album back to number one on Billboard's Vinyl Albums chart for a third week, and no album has sold more vinyl in a week since Blink-182's California sold 21,000 in the week ending 7 July.

Counting streams and track sales, the week came to 22,000 units, up 697 per cent. Its sales were the album's highest in a week since the one ending 23 June, when the CD and vinyl first reached the shops after weeks as a download only and 46,000 copies went.
