Radiohead's Kid A and Amnesiac come out on 12-inch vinyl for the first time

Kid A and Amnesiac are out today on heavyweight 12-inch double vinyl through XL, the first time either album has been pressed at full size. Copies were already turning up in European shops in the days before.

Since October 2000 and June 2001 the two records, made in the same sessions, have come on vinyl only as pairs of 10-inch discs, the shape Parlophone first gave them. Even XL's reissue of the back catalogue in May, which put the other six albums on 180-gram LPs, kept them that way.
