Mark Pritchard's “Beautiful People”, with Thom Yorke singing over a looped flute and muted drums, had its first play on BBC Radio 1 on 21 March. It is on Under the Sun, due from Warp on 13 May, and the second song out after “Sad Alron”, which came with a video when the album was announced on 2 March.

Pritchard, once half of Global Communication, remixed “Bloom” in 2011 for the band's run of King of Limbs remix records. Under the Sun is his first album since 93 Million Miles, made with Steve Spacek as Africa HiTech that same year. Yorke sings on it while, according to Fact, he works on a new Radiohead album, expected this year.

Pritchard says “Beautiful People” started as an instrumental. The original instrumental to Beautiful People is a personal song about loss, hopelessness and chaos, but ultimately the message is love and hope.1 Of Yorke's part he says, Thom's contribution to this collaboration captured perfectly what the piece is about.1
