The festival named them on 25 October as its first headliner for 2017, and Jacob Bundsgaard, the mayor of Aarhus, explained the exemption.
we in the Municipal Event Forum have given a dispensation so Radiohead can play a little longer than normal between the night of 11 and 12 June 2017

NorthSide runs from 9 to 11 June. The booking follows Glastonbury and Open'er, both announced on 20 October, in a summer of festivals for A Moon Shaped Pool. Tickets go on sale on the morning of Friday 28 October.
Bundsgaard calls the show a fantastic end to the festival, and says events this size help the city grow and bring in visitors in the year Aarhus is European Capital of Culture. The band have not played Denmark since Roskilde in July 2008, and they have not played Aarhus at all since a show at Huset in June 1993.
