Radiohead have announced nine American headline shows for the spring, around their Coachella sets on 14 and 21 April. The run opens on 30 March at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, where their 2012 North American tour began too. There is no date in the north-east, so no New York, Boston, Philadelphia or Toronto. In June the band move on to the European dates announced in October.

Coachella aside, Berkeley is the only city with two nights, at the Greek Theatre on 17 and 18 April, between the Coachella weekends. The band last played the Greek Theatre on 23 and 24 June 2006, warm-up shows before In Rainbows. They were last in the Bay Area to headline Outside Lands in Golden Gate Park in August.

The Moda Center on 9 April is Radiohead's first Portland show since 25 March 1996, at La Luna, a club they had also played in 1993 and 1995. Seattle's KeyArena, the night before, comes five years less a day after their last show there, at the same arena.
