Radiohead announce 13 European dates for summer 2017

Radiohead have added headline shows in Oslo, Stockholm, Florence, Monza, Dublin and Manchester to the six festivals they had already booked for June and July 2017. Tickets go on general sale on Friday 4 November.

Oslo and Stockholm take the band back to the arenas they last played there, the Stockholm Globe Arena on 8 September 2001 and Oslo Spektrum the next night. Neither city has seen Radiohead since, and their last show anywhere in Sweden was the Hultsfred festival in June 2003. Dublin's 3Arena on 20 June is their first Irish date since two nights at Malahide Castle in June 2008. Manchester and Glastonbury are the only British dates.

Four of the festivals were announced over the past fortnight: Glastonbury and Open'er on 20 October, NorthSide in Aarhus on 25 October and Rock Werchter on 28 October. Werchter has Radiohead on Friday 30 June, their first time there since 2008.

In Italy they play the Visarno Arena in Florence's Parco delle Cascine on 14 June and the I-Days festival at the Autodromo in the Parco di Monza, billed as Milan, on 16 June. I-Days gave its booking away in a tweet before the band's announcement. Radiohead last played Italy in September 2012, four shows in Rome, Florence, Bologna and Codroipo, and the Florence night was in the same park.
