Radiohead stream Bonnaroo 2006 with its original desk audio

Radiohead premiered the film of their 2006 Bonnaroo headline set on YouTube at 10pm UK time on Thursday 7 May, the fifth of the concert films they are putting up once a week.

For this one the band had tracked down the original desk audio, they said the day before in a post signed by Jonny Greenwood. Greenwood calls the night, at Great Stage Park in Manchester, Tennessee, on 17 June 2006, easily, comfortably, the best festival experience I've ever had in America⁴.

Six of the 28 songs were still unreleased that summer and came out on In Rainbows the following year. “House of Cards” opened the second encore, in the slot where the printed setlist had “I Might Be Wrong”, and “Karma Police” needed a false start before it got going.

I hope the heat, dust, and smell of fine Southern whiskey comes over as well as the songs – and I hope that we get back to live music soon.
