Radiohead put out free digital Christmas cards

Radiohead have put free digital Christmas cards on radiohead.com, the band's Public Library, for anyone to make and send. The fronts read “Fa La La”, “La” and “Laa”; inside go the band's phrases, “Everything is rosy”, “In lieu of emptiness” and “Sunlit uplands still await”. The band say none of the data put on a card is stored.

Jonny Greenwood wrote to fans with them, hoping they are safe and well and not too scared or bored.

I also hope that somehow we can be part of making music for you soon

He then remembers a Ray Bradbury story about the perfect murder, in a future where people are so used to holograms of each other that a real person can pass for a projection. He has forgotten the title, though Colin would remember. I’ll Zoom him later¹. He signs off Murder and solitude – and….happy zmas.¹
