Thom Yorke adds Phoenix and Sacramento to his American tour
Thom Yorke will play the Arizona Federal Theatre in Phoenix on 13 April and the Memorial Auditorium in Sacramento on 16 April, the last American dates of his Tomorrow's Modern Boxes tour. Both fall in the week between his two Coachella sets in Indio, on 11 and 18 April, so the American run ends in the California desert. Tickets go on general sale on Friday 17 January.
The show is Yorke with Nigel Godrich and Tarik Barri, playing songs from his solo records and Atoms for Peace, last June's ANIMA and the Suspiria soundtrack included. ANIMA is up for three Grammys on 26 January. The same announcement puts four older recordings on the streaming services from midnight tonight: “Hearing Damage”, from the 2009 Twilight Saga: New Moon soundtrack, and the Atoms for Peace B-sides “What the Eyeballs Did”, “S.A.D” and “Magic Beanz”.
Since the first dates came out in October it has grown by Coachella, three Mexican nights in late April, a second night in Manchester, Rock Werchter in Belgium and Les Nuits de Fourvière in Lyon.
