Radiohead put every studio album on YouTube for free

All nine Radiohead studio albums, from Pablo Honey to A Moon Shaped Pool, are now free to stream in full on the band's YouTube channel. The playlists were updated yesterday. Les Inrocks reports that they play with no adverts before them.

Every official album is there, though not quite every song the band have released. The channel also has the OKNOTOK reissue, “Ill Wind”, which reached the streaming services in January, and Scotch Mist, the 2007 film of In Rainbows songs made for a New Year's Eve webcast.

The uploads came days after Billboard said, on Friday 13 December, that official video plays on YouTube and several streaming services would count towards the Billboard 200 and its genre album charts. Four years ago Thom Yorke told La Repubblica that YouTube and Google taking over music was like the Nazis seizing art in the Second World War.
