Ed O'Brien remixes Paul McCartney's “Slidin'” with Paul Epworth

Ed O'Brien's remix of “Slidin'”, from Paul McCartney's lockdown album McCartney III, came out on 7 April with a visualiser video. It is credited as the EOB Remix, after the name Ed put out Earth under last year. He made it with the producer Paul Epworth.

It is the third track heard from McCartney III Imagined, after Dominic Fike's “The Kiss of Venus” and Beck's “Find My Way”.

Ed told BBC Radio 6 Music that he liked the song a lot and asked Epworth whether he fancied getting stuck in; Epworth was keen. They kept McCartney's vocal and added chaos and guitar, and Ed's reference point was 'Helter Skelter,' ramp up the intensity!³
