BroadwayWorld calls it the most expensive Brompton ever sold. The sale raised about $142,000, every dollar of it for Crew Nation, the fund Live Nation set up for live music crews out of work in the pandemic.
Most of the bikes were mocked up by the musicians themselves. Radiohead's was drawn by Stanley Donwood, the band's sleeve artist, and carries the bear logo, In Rainbows lettering and other pictures from their records. Brompton unveiled it on 28 April as one of the first four designs. Donwood said then that he was ridiculously happy to have been asked. We love our crew and we love our Brompton bikes
