Radiohead give a Kid A test pressing to a Gig Buddies raffle
Radiohead have given a vinyl test pressing of Kid A to a raffle for Gig Buddies, the charity that pairs adults with learning disabilities or autism with volunteers of similar interests, so they can go to gigs together. The band posted the news on Monday 14 June with a photograph of the record.
Tickets cost £2. The raffle is the work of Adam Devonshire, the IDLES bassist and a patron of the charity. It runs alongside a livestream from The Exchange in Bristol on Sunday 20 June, with Mclusky among the bands and Stewart Lee among the comedians.
Other bands have given signed records, guitar pedals, show tickets and merchandise. One lot is a guitar signed by everyone who played an earlier Gig Buddies stream Devonshire put on.
This is a raffle. For one test pressing of the long-playing record Kid A.
