Jonny Greenwood up for the Oscar again with The Power of the Dog
Jonny Greenwood's score for Jane Campion's The Power of the Dog is one of five nominated for Best Original Score at the 94th Academy Awards, announced on 8 February. His rivals are Nicholas Britell, Germaine Franco, Alberto Iglesias and Hans Zimmer, nominated for Dune. Campion is up for Best Director and the film for Best Picture. The winners are named on 27 March.
It is his second nomination. The first was for Phantom Thread, which lost to Alexandre Desplat's The Shape of Water in 2018.
