Selena Fragassi, reviewing for the Chicago Sun-Times, put the park at about half full. It was the last night of their North American summer tour, which began with two nights in Mexico City a month ago.
Jonny Greenwood took a violin bow to his guitar on “Waving A White Flag” so hard that he broke the strings, and “Bending Hectic”, the single out in June, climbed to its peak under a dizzying light show. Thom Yorke, Greenwood and the drummer Tom Skinner played about 75 minutes and 15 songs, opening on “Pana-vision” with Robert Stillman's saxophone and ending, as they had in Cleveland ten days earlier, with Yorke's solo song “Feeling Pulled Apart by Horses”.
Several of the songs were new, and the band confirmed they are working on the follow-up to their first album.
