It is due on 13 December. The shops announced it on 19 November with their 100 albums of 2024, which put Cutouts at number four; each of the top 20 comes with an exclusive of its own.
Discogs lists the 12-inch as Live from the BBC 6Music Festival, on XL and limited to 2,000 copies. “Instant Psalm” takes side A, with “Tiptoe” and “Friend of a Friend” on side B. Hugh Brunt conducts the orchestra in Jonny Greenwood's string arrangements, and Robert Stillman plays saxophone and clarinet.
It is the only official release from that set, played at the O2 Victoria Warehouse in Manchester on 9 March and billed as their first show with an orchestra. “Instant Psalm” and “Tiptoe” had not been released when the band played them there; both came out on Cutouts on 4 October.
