RUSSH reports that it was the only time anyone else was on stage all night, and The AU Review, which gave the show five stars, places the song late in the set. Yorke first played it in Christchurch nine days earlier.
The rest of the night Yorke worked alone in a semicircle of machines, with his own image projected live on three large LED screens behind him and broken up by effects. Light rain set in about 80 minutes in and never became a storm.
He opened at the piano with “The Eraser”. The Radiohead songs included an acoustic “Let Down”, “Fake Plastic Trees”, “Reckoner” and “Pyramid Song”, which the instrumental “Volk” from his Suspiria score led into. “Everything in Its Right Place” closed the main set before a three-song encore, and he ended the night on acoustic guitar with “How to Disappear Completely”.
