The show now closes on 18 January 2026 instead of 11 January, a change the museum made in late November.
Curated by Lena Fritsch, it opened on 6 August with more than 180 works, from the original album-cover paintings to unpublished drawings and handwritten lyrics. The museum has told Cherwell, the Oxford student paper, that it has issued 32,370 tickets so far.
On 25 November the Ashmolean said it was a day away from one million visitors for the year, about 14 per cent ahead of the same point in 2024, and its first million since reopening in 2009. It named two main draws, its new Rome and the Roman Empire gallery and the Radiohead show.
