Cillian Murphy picks Thom Yorke's “The Eraser” for Tommy Shelby

Cillian Murphy has chosen Thom Yorke's “The Eraser”, the title track of his 2006 solo album, as the song that gets him into character as Tommy Shelby. It is on a playlist Murphy made to define Peaky Blinders for the release of the film The Immortal Man, with David Bowie and Sinead O'Connor among the other artists.

He drew on the track while making the film, for its atmosphere and for a line that matched the man he plays. That felt to me very much like Tommy Shelby, like you can't get rid of him.¹
