Claudio Todesco, writing in Italian, spoke to him backstage after his show at the Teatro Lirico in Milan. In the magazine's account, the band will decide on their future at the end of the tour, and its own reading is that whether and how Radiohead carry on should not be clear before next summer at the earliest.
He told Todesco he does not know what he is doing, and that he has no wish to show off, which is not in his nature. Sono a inizio carriera, sono un principiante
1 (“I'm at the start of my career, I'm a beginner”, in our translation).
He also spoke about psilocybin mushrooms, which he finds a form of therapy and calls plant medicine. Non faccio spesso uso di psichedelici, una o due volte all'anno prendo funghi alla psilocibina
1 (“I don't often use psychedelics; once or twice a year I take psilocybin mushrooms”, in our translation). Psilocybin, he said, lifts a veil, so that things become visible.
