Kendrick Lamar outtake over “Everything In Its Right Place” resurfaces

An unreleased Kendrick Lamar song from the good kid, m.A.A.d city sessions, rapped over a sample of Radiohead's “Everything In Its Right Place”, went round widely at the end of March. The beat under his verse is the keyboard loop that opens Kid A.

MackWop, who is close to Top Dawg Entertainment, Lamar's old label, played it on a livestream. The music journalist Jeff Weiss posted a clip on X on 27 March, calling it a find from Lamar's vault. The song had already leaked, and copies titled “Bloody Murder” had been on YouTube since at least 1 December 2025.

It runs under three minutes, and neither Lamar nor his label has ever released it. Jason Kottke, who posted it today, rates it highly and admits it had been out a while before he found it.
