Radiohead book their first Australian tour for June
Frontier Touring have booked Radiohead into five Australian cities on five straight nights in June, with Auckland Town Hall to follow. The promoter's release, dated 25 April, bills it as the Pablo Honey Tour. An Australian tour souvenir EP is due on 3 June.
Frontier's pitch leans on “Creep”. The release calls 1993 the year of the song, says it was recorded by mistake during rehearsals and puts its UK peak at number seven. Pablo Honey, made in three weeks, has sold more than a million copies worldwide by the promoter's count, and the band are billed as the British answer to REM.
To say that Radiohead show promise is to say that Hendrix played the guitar.

The release says daytime radio ignored them and their following grew by word of mouth and live shows. It also warns that Jonny Greenwood often cuts his hands on stage with the force of his playing.
