Radiohead add Madison Square Garden, with every seat at $45

written up for the archive

Radiohead have added a show at Madison Square Garden in New York on Tuesday 7 August to the second leg of their US tour, and every ticket costs $45. That includes the 1,000 general admission places on the floor right in front of the stage.

Tickets go on sale through Ticketmaster on Saturday 21 July, after a one-day internet presale on the 19th, with a limit of four a buyer. Kid Koala and the Beta Band open, as they do across the tour.

In June the itinerary had a Philadelphia show, venue to be confirmed, on that date. The Garden now falls a week before the band's two open-air nights at Liberty State Park in Jersey City.

Their New York headline nights until now have been at the Roseland Ballroom, the Hammerstein Ballroom and Radio City Music Hall, and last October they were back at Roseland.
