Radiohead take over Boston's FNX with suitcases of records
Thom Yorke, Colin Greenwood, Ed O'Brien and Phil Selway took over Hostile Takeover on FNX in Boston for a few hours on Tuesday evening, the night before the North American tour opens at the Tweeter Center in Mansfield, outside the city. On the show a visiting band plays its own records, and they brought theirs in suitcases.
Paul Driscoll, the FNX DJ who hosted them, says the band were on top form all night and down to earth in the studio. They introduced the records between bites of vegetarian sushi, and at one point Yorke got up and danced. The whole thing was very surreal. I've been a fan of theirs since 1993... It's hard to put the experience into words.
