Radiohead opened their North American tour at the Tweeter Center in Mansfield, Massachusetts, outside Boston, on Wednesday 13 August, and played “Creep” twelfth in the main set, to cheers and some disbelief from a sold-out crowd of about 20,000. It was the song's first American airing since June 1998, at the 9:30 Club and RFK Stadium in Washington on the Tibetan Freedom Concert weekend. They have played it since in Oxford in July 2001 and in Porto last summer.

Ten of the 23 songs came from the new album, starting with the first two of the night, “2+2=5” and a stripped-down “Sit Down. Stand Up.” There was no “Karma Police”, “High and Dry” or “I Might Be Wrong”.

Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks opened, as they do for the first 12 dates, and Boston's WBCN broadcast the concert live. Shawn Fitzgerald, reviewing it for musicOMH, calls the show perfect.
