Field Day returns for 2005 in Red Hook, and wants Radiohead to headline

The Red Hook Town Board has approved a mass gathering permit for a two-day music festival at Greig Farm in July 2005. Its promoter, Andrew Dreskin, has named Radiohead as the headliners from the very beginning.
Dreskin ran Field Day in June 2003. When Long Island refused it permits days before it was due to start, it moved to Giants Stadium in New Jersey, where Radiohead closed it.
The new festival will fall on either 16 and 17 July or 23 and 24 July. Dreskin expects the date to be settled within weeks, and it depends on the headliner saying yes.
