Radiohead have two nominations at the 20th annual TEC Awards: Hail to the Thief for Record Production/Album, and the band's tour for Tour Sound Production. The winners are named on Saturday 30 October at the Marriott in San Francisco.
The album award goes to the engineers, producer and studio. The nomination names Nigel Godrich as producer, as recording engineer with Darrell Thorp and as mixing engineer, with Ocean Way in Hollywood as the studio. Bob Ludwig mastered the record at Gateway Mastering in Portland, Maine.
The tour award goes to the sound company and the engineers at the desks. Radiohead's nomination credits Firehouse Productions of Red Hook, New York, and Audiotek of Burbank, California, with Jim Warren at front of house and Graham Lees on monitors.
