Randee Dawn recalls teaching Thom Yorke tequila shots in Alternative Press

Alternative Press, which says it was one of the first American magazines to put Radiohead on its cover, looks back at the band in its July 2005 issue (no. 204). Staff writer Randee Dawn recalls five days on the road with them ten years ago. After their show at the Black Cat in Washington, DC, she spent a night in a bar showing Thom Yorke the proper way to take tequila shots.

The band liked her piece so much that they gave her a gold record of The Bends, engraved with a thank-you.
