Thom Yorke's Bridge School “After the Gold Rush” is out on iTunes

Thom Yorke's solo version of Neil Young's “After the Gold Rush” is on The Bridge School, NME reports, an 80-track collection of live recordings from the Bridge School Benefit concerts that iTunes put out on 14 November, to buy whole or a track at a time. Yorke closed his first set at the benefit with the 1970 song, at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California, on 26 October 2002, and it was the only Young song in either of his two sets that weekend.

More than 50 performers from the benefit's 20 years are on the collection, from Bruce Springsteen and R.E.M. to Lou Reed and Tom Waits.

The money goes to the Bridge School in Hillsborough, California, which Pegi Young co-founded in 1985 for children with severe physical and speech impairments. She and Neil Young hold the benefit concerts every autumn.
