Thom Yorke says the band's “Videotape” beats his piano version

The “Videotape” Radiohead are making in the studio is better than the one Thom Yorke plays on From The Basement, he has told fans on the band's website. The show went online on 18 December with Yorke alone at the piano for “Videotape” and “Down Is the New Up”. The band are taking a break and start work again in January.

'Videotape' I was very proud of. And it doesn't sound like the version that we are working on now…Which is even better…They are sketches obviously just me on the piano.
