The run takes Radiohead to Brazil, Argentina and Chile for the first time, and back to Mexico for the first time since a string of club dates in October 1994.
The promoters in Chile were first, announcing on 10 November a Santiago show on 27 March at San Carlos de Apoquindo, part of the Cristal en Vivo festival. A second Santiago night, on 26 March, has since been added.
On 20 November the band announced two nights at Foro Sol in Mexico City, and their website listed Argentina and Brazil with no dates or venues yet. Buenos Aires was filled in on 14 December, when the promoters Time For Fun made Radiohead the opening night of Quilmes Rock 2009, with every ticket at 270 pesos.
In Brazil the band head the Just a Fest festival in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. Radiohead's own site put tickets on sale on 4 December at £80, eight hours before the official sale, and they went quickly.
