Thom Yorke says Radiohead will not repeat the In Rainbows download
Thom Yorke has told Mimi Turner of The Hollywood Reporter that Radiohead will not repeat the pay-what-you-want download of In Rainbows. I think it was a one-off response to a particular situation.

He was talking about the band's part in MTV's EXIT campaign against human trafficking and forced labour. MTV and Radiohead have made a film for “All I Need”, which premieres on Thursday 1 May across MTV's channels and websites around the world.
The download went up on 10 October, with buyers choosing the price, and closed on 10 December; the album has since come out on CD. Radiohead, Yorke says, are big enough now to deal with their audience directly.
They did it, he says, because everyone was asking them what they were going to do. I don't think it would have the same significance now anyway, if we chose to give something away again. It was a moment in time.
