Radiohead play Poznań's Cytadela, their first Polish show in 15 years

Radiohead played the Cytadela park in Poznań on Tuesday 25 August, 15 years and two days after their only other Polish show, on the Sopot pier in August 1994. Every album from The Bends to In Rainbows came out in between without a date in Poland, and Poznań was the only Polish stop on this tour. Głos Wielkopolski put the crowd at 35,000.

The concert was part of the city's campaign Poznań dla Ziemi (Poznań for the Earth). Before the band came on, the Cytadela screened Meeting People Is Easy, Grant Gee's film of them on tour, according to Wprost.

Poznań was the third of five August nights, between Prague on Sunday and Leeds and Reading at the weekend. The first encore carried “These Are My Twisted Words”, the new song first played live at Frequency in St. Pölten on Friday. “Myxomatosis”, “Optimistic” and “I Might Be Wrong” were in the set after missing out in Prague. The last song was “Creep”, which the band had left out at both of the week's earlier shows.
