Frank Ocean sings “Fake Plastic Trees” at Spotify's New York launch

Frank Ocean opened a short set at Spotify's press event in New York on Thursday 6 December with about a minute and a half of Radiohead's “Fake Plastic Trees”, from The Bends, the band's second album, sung over a lone keyboard as the way into his own “Voodoo”. A short video of it is now on YouTube.

Spotify billed the event as What's Next and used it to show off new features for its service. Ocean came to it with six Grammy nominations just in, including Album of the Year for Channel Orange and Best New Artist.
