Colin Greenwood plays solo bass for Dries Van Noten in Paris

Colin Greenwood, who plays bass in Radiohead, played live and alone, with a bass guitar and an amplifier, at Dries Van Noten's spring/summer 2014 women's show at Paris Fashion Week, on the afternoon of Wednesday 25 September. The show was in the Halle Freyssinet, a vast concrete industrial hall, and his bass drones echoed round it as the show began.

Greenwood took his cue from his favourite piece in the collection, which is embroidered with barbed wire, and built his set on the bass line of Radiohead's “My Iron Lung”.
