Thom Yorke to play Tomorrow's Modern Boxes live in Tokyo

Thom Yorke will play Tomorrow's Modern Boxes live on 15 August at the Hostess Club All-Nighter, the all-night bill inside the Summer Sonic festival in Tokyo. It is the first show announced for the record, which came out through BitTorrent last September. He plays last, after FFS (Franz Ferdinand with Sparks), Spiritualized, Jon Hopkins, Matthew Herbert and Bo Ningen.

Nigel Godrich gave the news away on Twitter on 5 June, in Japanese first and then in his own English gloss, which had Yorke playing a little gig in japan³. His next tweet, a reply, put two more people in the show. In answer yes I will be there with some modern boxes and also @tarikbarri with visuals...³
