Cover: Pathway to Paris, 350.orgThom Yorke's “Bloom”, played alone at the piano at Le Trianon in Paris last December, is on Pathway to Paris: Live at Le Trianon, the charity live album from the concerts, out on Wednesday 27 July. All the money it raises goes to 350.org and the UN Development Programme. Pathway to Paris, founded by Jesse Paris Smith and Rebecca Foon, has put out the video of it too.
Yorke played his solo set on 4 December, during the UN climate conference, the night he gave “The Numbers” its first airing under its old name, “Silent Spring”. “Desert Island Disk” had its first performance there too, and both songs are now on A Moon Shaped Pool.
The album closes on Patti Smith leading “People Have the Power”, and the second video is that song, with Yorke on stage among Flea, Warren Ellis, Tony Shanahan and the night's other players.
