Thom Yorke to tour America with Tomorrow's Modern Boxes

Thom Yorke will take his Tomorrow's Modern Boxes show across the US in November and December, with Nigel Godrich and the audiovisual artist Tarik Barri beside him. The 19 dates, announced on Radiohead's Twitter account on 13 August, open at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia on 23 November.

The three have played the show in Britain, Europe and Japan since 2015, but America has seen it only three times, all last December.

This run takes in the Concert Hall of the Kennedy Center in Washington and two nights each at the Kings Theatre in Brooklyn and the Orpheum in Los Angeles. The cellist Oliver Coates supports on every date, and tickets go on sale on Friday 17 August.

The music comes from Yorke's solo albums The Eraser and Tomorrow's Modern Boxes and from Atoms for Peace's Amok, with new songs he has been playing lately, including “I Am a Very Rude Person”, “Saturdays” and “The Axe”, first heard in Florence in May.
