Thom Yorke cancels the US dates of Tomorrow's Modern Boxes

Thom Yorke has cancelled the American dates of Tomorrow's Modern Boxes, his live show with Nigel Godrich and the visual artist Tarik Barri, in a two-line note posted on Instagram and Twitter on Thursday 4 February. Sadly we must cancel our run of dates in the USA for Tomorrow's Modern Boxes.² Ticket buyers are to go to whoever sold them their tickets for a refund.

The pandemic stopped the American leg before its first night, at the EagleBank Arena in Fairfax, Virginia, on 28 March 2020. The dates moved to the autumn, then in September were postponed again with no new dates, when Washington DC, Chicago and Denver were called off outright. Today's note ends the rest: Radio City Music Hall and two nights at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York, and the Phoenix and Sacramento shows.

His dates in Britain and Europe in June and July still stand.
