Austin came after two nights in Mexico City at the start of the band's North American tour. The two Austin sets had the same 19 songs, all 13 from A Light for Attracting Attention and six others, in a different order. The first night opened with “The Same”, the second with “Pana-Vision”.
The Austin Chronicle reviewed the second night. “Pana-Vision” began on upright piano, with saxophone from Robert Stillman, who had also played the opening set, and Yorke took up the bass for “Thin Thing”. The Chronicle also ran photographs of the night.
In “Colours Fly”, one of the new songs, Greenwood bowed his guitar strings with a violin bow while Yorke looped his voice. The reviewer notes that the band have said a second album is under way, and counts eight unreleased songs played live so far.
The encore ended with “Bending Hectic”, out as a single six days earlier, and “Feeling Pulled Apart by Horses”, which Yorke first put out in 2009; on the first night the two came the other way round. The reviewer rated the end of “Bending Hectic” as Greenwood's heaviest guitar since “Paranoid Android”.
