The Coachella 2026 poster, revealed on 16 September, ends with an unexplained line: “The Bunker Debut of RADIOHEAD KID A MNESIA”. Rolling Stone asked whether it meant a performance, and a Radiohead representative told the magazine that the band will not physically be there1.

Kid A Mnesia was the band's 2021 look back at Kid A and Amnesiac on their 20th anniversary, as a three-disc set of outtakes and B-sides, an art book and an immersive exhibition. The exhibition was planned as a physical installation, but logistics and the pandemic stopped it, and it came out instead as a free download for PlayStation 5, Windows and Mac.

The festival runs over two weekends in April, with Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber and Karol G at the top. BrooklynVegan files the Radiohead line under weird. Far Out reads “bunker” as a dark or underground room, the right setting for that installation to open at last, perhaps for the 25th anniversary.
