Radiohead covers album Exit Music gets a 20th anniversary reissue

BBE Music is reissuing Exit Music: Songs With Radio Heads, its 2006 album of Radiohead songs covered in hip-hop, soul, jazz and dance styles, as a 20th Anniversary Edition. The label gives 30 October as the release date, for a digital edition and a double vinyl priced at £28 in its shop.

There are still 14 tracks, but LO Freq's “Blow Out” is not among them. In its place comes Vikter Duplaix's “Treefingers”, which Tower Records Japan lists as a 20th anniversary bonus track. The other 13 are the covers from 2006.

The album first came out on CD in 2006, on BBE and Rapster Records, and Radiohead had no part in it. Mark Ronson's “Just”, sung by Alex Greenwald of Phantom Planet, came out as a single on 13 March that year, ahead of the album, and the label says it was BBE's first UK Top 40 single. In The Guardian, Dave Simpson gave the album one star.

The Randy Watson Experience are Questlove and James Poyser.
